NORWAY, I LOVE YOU. Right before I left for Poland (literally, 3 days before) I was contacted by the sweetest art director from Norwegian Business Daily (Norways Financial Times) and asked to create 3 full page and 1 half page watercolor illustrations for 2 issues of D2 magazine.
For one issue the commission was to illustrate a portrait of Stella McCartney and a set of 4 quick sport fashion watercolor looks based on Stella’s collaboration with Adidas.
For a second issue Marta illustrated an article about brussels sprouts as the new power food painting sprouts and a salad with walnuts and parmesan cheese.
It was fun. Bright, fluid, spontaneous and lovely commission. I hope to work with D2 again very soon.
