What I have overdone:
My love for a boy who ate light bulbs in Canes.
Vodka at age 13, sadly.
Fringe bangs in the 90’, madly.
Smiling when anger was carbonating like yeast.
A couple of orgasms, joyfully.
A couple of joys, orgasmicly.
∴
The fear of flying but not Erika Jong’s.
Smoking in collage, disappointedly.
Disappointments, pointlessly.
Love with a sailor, on the loveboat in ’98.
My tender self, on a silverplate.
Sadness over bitter coffee I still contemplate.
∴
Bath salts until my Polish-ed skin cracks.
Cracks in my spirit, for letting in
the light it hardly ever,
but lacks.
